Managing Partner

Prior to joining AIM Capital, Fernando started Celestica’s Utilities and Industrial Connectivity group. Celestica’s UIC market segment focused on manufacturing products for Smart Cities and Smart Grids. Fernando grew the market segment to over $200M in revenue within five years through the acquisition of customer operations and the growth of existing operations. Prior to Celestica, Fernando led the Sales, Marketing, Program Management and Applications Engineering team at Falco Electronics. Falco is an electronics manufacturer which Fernando led from a few million to over $120M in revenue and expanded from a regional to a global company.

Fernando Amaro brings over 30 years of operational experience in leading businesses to exponential growth by focusing on improving, sales, marketing, and operations. Fernando enjoys working with the leadership team in our investments through a collaborative process. He is a learner and an enabler, focused on understanding what is required to attain business success and enabling its execution.

​Mr. Amaro has served on private company boards, including Grupo Pit, a multi-line family-owned business with businesses in restaurants, food distribution, real estate development, and transportation.

Jonathan is responsible for evaluating, executing and monitoring investments. Jonathan formerly served as the Head of Asset Management for Metropolitan Partners Group, a growth capital investor. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Jonathan was an investor and C-Level portfolio company operator for Kuzari Group. He also served as an operating executive for St. Cloud Capital, responsible for sourcing new investments while operating an industrial services portfolio company, as CFO and ultimately acting-CEO. Earlier in his career, Jonathan held investing and asset management roles with Macquarie and Shamrock Holdings (the Roy E. Disney family office). He began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Aerospace & Defense group of Houlihan Lokey and as a private debt analyst with St. Cloud Capital. Jonathan graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Alexis Gonzalez is currently the Managing Partner of The Law Office of Alexis Gonzalez, P.A. Where he represents automobile dealerships, banking institutions, caterers, condominium/homeowner associations, contractors/subcontractors, developers, educational institutions (including schools and academies), insurance companies, private investors and individuals, real estate and mortgage brokers as well as residential and commercial real estate owners. He prides himself in developing a strong relationship with his clients that is based on trust, sincerity and reliability.

Mr. Gonzalez’s commitment to legal, community, business and civic organizations include a longstanding association with the Latin Builders Association (LBA), where he serves as the LBA’s General Counsel and a Director on the Executive Board. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, whose mission is to serve the children of the Miami area. Mr. Gonzalez was also selected to serve as a member of the Small Business Enterprise (SBE-C) Advisory Board and the Dade County Bar Association’s Board of Directors.
